This week’s guest is Amy Taylor .
Amy is a dynamic American model/entrepreneur known for her striking presence and versatile talent. Amy’s journey in the modelling industry has been marked by her unique blend of beauty, charisma, and professionalism.
Raised in the Bay Area, Amy studied molecular biology at the University of California, Berkeley, and subsequently worked in biotech, before moving to Los Angeles to obtain her MBA.
As a model, Amy has graced numerous high-profile publications like GQ, Elle, LOfficiel and collaborated with top industry professionals.
Beyond modelling, she is an advocate for body positivity, women’s empowerment, and is a frequent guest on podcasts where she talks about having made the decision to make money using her looksk.
Despite her beginnings in biotech, corporate business and (yes!) aviation, Amy makes her money as an exclusive model and working as an escort.
On the show, Amy discusses modelling and her work. She talks at length about how we need to get past people’s preconceptions that those of us who make money using our looks aren’t being exploited. Amy suggests we need to think differently about our attitudes to business and those people who choose to work in, say, the sex industry.
“I want to make it better for the next generation,” Amy says on the show.
Much of the discussion is framed around the relationships Amy has had with people she has dated, her career in modeling, and how others have viewed these friendships and relationships.
Open about enjoying spending time with men who give her gifts, take her on trips, and treat her with respect and courtesy, Amy talks about the choices we have.
She also discusses some of the attacks she’s received both on- and offline from people who seek to define her as a victim or something abhorent for using her looks as her primary source of income.
With a wicked sense of humour as well as her MBA, Amy quips on the show that she’s a “nerd with the face of a porn star”.
This particular nerd does a great job in talking about something that often gets passed over.
