This week’s show is all about calm and confidence and reducing anxiety.
The guest is Liz Clifton who is, as she describes herself, a “Calm coach”.
Liz talks candidly about her journey, sharing how a 15-year dysfunctional relationship left her lonely and without a voice of her own.
She describes making better choices and emotionally healing from that situation and how that led to her becoming a Reiki professional and ultimately a “calm coach”.
Liz also talks in depth about how the process of rehabilitating her dog, helping it recover and bond with her, led her to feel calm and more comfortable with herself.
The discussion of the relationship between animals and humans and how we can help each other heal is particularly interesting as it plugged into my own relationship with dogs.
We then go on to discuss some of the techniques to help you get started checking in with yourself such as greeting yourself in the morning, promoting and nurturing the kind of relationship you want with yourself.
Liz explains that Calm coaching can help us to let go of any stress that has built up inside us, and get past the emotional baggage and blocks we have.
By being calm, connected and confident, you can choose to be yourself with anyone at anytime.
